MSc and PhD students
As a general rule, I am seeking good graduate students to join my group to work on a range of field-based research projects in NW Canada related to paleoclimatic change. If your interests align with my research program (see website), please e-mail me (attach CV) to discuss current opportunities.
There are currently no postdoc positions available in my lab. However, if you are interested to pursue external funding opportunities, please contact me to discuss projects and preparation of your funding application. There are several fellowship competitions to consider through the Government of Canada (Banting PDF, NSERC PDF), Canadian Northern Studies Trust (W.G. Weston PDF in Northern Research), and the University of Toronto (Arts & Science fellowship program) – note that application deadlines vary, and international applicants may only be eligible for some of these opportunities. Please contact me for more details.
We occasionally have openings for undergraduate students (2nd year status or higher) to assist with lab-based research related to dendrochronology and organic geochemistry. If you are interested in gaining practical experience in either of these disciplines, please contact me by e-mail with a statement of interest and your transcripts.
